Nikhil is President and Founder of ApTSi (Applied Technology Solutions, Inc.) a visionary organization creating the future of technology solutions. Nikhil has been actively involved in setting the strategy, vision, and direction of enterprise cybersecurity architectures for over 3 decades and is Co-Chair of the Open Groups Zero Trust Architecture Working Group, an initiative engaged in setting industry definition of Zero Trust, through Standards, Certifications, Communications and Community engagement. The initial publication on the Zero Trust Core Principles was foundational in President Biden’s Cybersecurity directive. The Working Group involves The Open Group, NIST, SABSA, and numerous commercial and governmental members of The Open Group.
Nikhil is an industry thought leader in Cybersecurity, SOA, Cloud Computing, AI, IOT, Precision Medicine, Healthcare and FinTech. At ApTSi, Nikhil defines corporate strategy, and business development, drives its SOASense™, SOAReality™, ZTaaS™ and ApMED™ product lines, and consults to key clients with extensive experience in the Healthcare, Insurance, Utility, Finance and Manufacturing sectors. He has been involved in authoring of multiple papers, books, and standards and is an invited MIT mentor.
